As they were traveling on the weary passage
Someone proclaimed: “I’ll follow where you go”
So Jesus said, that all things under heaven
They have their rest, yet not the Son of man

No place for Him, no place to rest His head
No home that He, on this earth could call His own
Thus none who look behind are fit to follow
God’s kingdom is reserved for faith alone

So let this mind, which was found in Christ Jesus
Exist in you, renewing wholly through
Emptied Himself, He lived despised, a slave’s life
Obedient, serving even unto death

Even the death, an undeserving cross
Found in the likeness of us, our sinful man
Therefore approved, the Living God exalted

The faithful ones, the witnesses before us
They manifested untold loss for gain
